Meijer Project

Each drawing was based on an actual receipt, replicating and fictionalizing important details such as location, date, time, and description of items purchased. Installed in chronological order across the entire length of a gallery wall, the group revealed an epic plan of simultaneous shopping. Daily, weekly, and monthly routines add up to a year of acquired objects common to big "box stores."

The project was created in dialogue with artist Conrad Bakker, who created another Meijer-based work for the same show.
