    collapsing a commute

    For this work I recorded the sounds of a week's commutes by car between home and studio, an hour-long trip. A microphone in the passenger seat recorded each commute; during each recording session I played back the previous trip's recording on the car stereo. The final piece, also the last recording, contains the indiscernible sounds of every trip reduced to a single track.
